This lady right here is Patricia Tallman.
She’s this really awesome stunt-woman/actress who was brought into an episode of TNG to play an extra and she was liked so much (both for skill and later resemblance to lead actresses) that she was made a part of the core stunt group and even a stunt coordinator!
She worked closely with the Trek franchise for about 8 years in which time she made many appearances in everything from TNG, to Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and even in Star Trek: Generations (and she went uncredited for most all of her appearances).
Perfect example of a Starfleet Queen!
It’s going to be hard to stop at just one of these. Or two. Or three. It’s a function of the premise of Doctor Who that it’s easy to imagine the TARDIS popping up anywhere. These pieces put the TARDIS all over our childhood, and it’s awesome. Particular props to the Big “Bad Wolf.” Small posters at $13.50, medium at $20.78, and large at 36.44. Get them at Red Bubble.
We made you a Doctor Who Global Celebration Digital Party Pack! Download it here!
As you may have noticed, we’ve been sending out Doctor Who 50th “party packs” to a few lucky Whovians who have posted their Doctor Who 50th Anniversary party plans to the #Doctor Who Global Celebration tag on Tumblr.
We wanted to send these out to everybody but the number of sparkly blue envelopes is finite while the number of Whovians is infinitely expanding (fact.)
And that’s when we realized that THE INTERNET was
probably Time Lord technologyinfinite!
Here you’ll find bingo to play while you’re watching 'Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor', recipes for om noms to make for your celebration, printable invites to send to your friends, decorations for cupcakes, popcorn holders, and more.
Best of all, most of the things in this pack were created by your fellow fans of Doctor Who.
You can grab the entire pack here (10.4MB zip file.)
You can grab the entire pack as individual files by clicking the links below. Some parts have multiple pages so make sure you keep track of them.
(We tried to keep the images at sizes that would suit most people’s computers, so make sure you’re viewing the images full sized before printing. If you want any of these bigger pop them into your fave photo editor and blow ‘em up!)
And let’s make this the best Doctor Who 50th Anniversary EVER!
Reblogging incase anyone missed this yesterday.
